Each month, I create, install, and represent the vibe at Communion San Francisco: a rad music showcase produced in collaboration with (((folkYEAH!))) that features unique performances by incredible local and touring bands. This showcase happens in Brooklyn, Austin, Sydney, cities across the UK and more places than that, I’m sure. This past Monday, April 2nd, marks the 7-month anniversary since Communion Launched in San Francisco. The magic goes down every first Monday of the month at Cafe Du Nord.
It is always a treat for me to discover who will be playing next! I’ve had the pleasure of creating vibe for bands like Father John Misty, Kacey Johansing, Nick Waterhouse, White Magic… too many talents to list them all here. It is a real joy to find vintage gems and to create recycled, handmade, and custom-crafted decor all selected and designed with the intention of creating a warm, inspiring, “San Francisco folk” vibe for the event.
Such a rad gig!
